Are you interested in utilizing that experience in the exciting world of horse racing? The Department of Agriculture is seeking candidates for Livestock Worker positions to assist Veterinarians to handle horses, record data, and collect samples at Meadows Racetrack. Livestock Workers perform important work in ensuring that the rules, regulations, and policies of the Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission are followed. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Livestock Worker 1 role involves overseeing designated horses, gathering urine and blood samples, maintaining the Detention Barn, and supporting various farm tasks as needed.
