Installation & Service Technician  

Landmark Irrigation is a family-owned, full-service Valley irrigation dealer, solar design and installation, and drainage tile installation company with locations in Taylor, Missouri and Muscatine, Iowa. We service customers in northern Missouri, west central Illinois, and southeastern Iowa. With over thirty years of experience, we work closely with our agricultural customers, sharing extensive irrigation knowledge to boost year-to-year performance.

We are seeking a full-time Installation & Service Technician for our Muscatine, IA location. Our ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge in either heavy equipment, agriculture equipment, construction, or solar installations and is willing to train. This individual will provide quality field service while utilizing mechanical abilities to install, service, repair, recondition, and assemble customer’s new or used irrigation and solar equipment in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and conduct mechanical/electrical repair on center pivot, linear, and corner irrigation systems using test equipment and tools to determine root cause.
  • Work directly with farm growers to communicate repairs made, share available products and services to meet their needs, and provide instruction on operating irrigation and ag equipment.
  • Work with installation crews on the construction of new equipment, irrigation, solar, and drainage.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and operations manuals.
  • Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain clear customer records.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical or mechanical systems (480V 3 phase, 110V 3 phase).
  • Ability to use service-related technology and basic computer functions.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and background check required.
  • Class A CDL License or willingness to obtain is preferred.
  • Experience or interest in solar energy, preferred.
  • Attention to detail, positive attitude, and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and climb a 10ft ladder.
  • Ability to work year-round, overtime, and outdoors.
