Truck Driver - Landenberg, Pennsylvania

Welcome to Wilkinson Farms! We’re hiring a full-time experienced Truck Driver with flatbed and dump trailer experience in Landenberg, PA (about 15 miles northeast of Wilmington, DE). In this role, you will haul straw and hay locally but there will be occasional long-distance driving.

We’ve been established for over 30 years and have built a great reputation, both locally and throughout Delaware and Maryland. Located in Landenberg, PA, we specialize in providing quality material for the mushroom industry.

What you will be doing:

• Driving trucks to their destination and unloading according to site requirements.
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks.
• Loading straw/hay onto the truck using a loader or other lifting equipment.
• Making sure each load is correctly placed and is secure.
• Collecting documents.
• Maintaining a logbook with details of trips, including rest breaks on long trips.
• Providing customer service.

What we’re looking for:

• Have at least three years of truck-driving experience.
• Have a CDL A license.
• Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be capable and confident in your ability.
