We’re hiring a full-time Service Advisor to work with our Outdoor Power Equipment and Compact Tractor service teams in Medina, OH. Our ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and receive genuine personal satisfaction from delivering excellent service to others. We offer an extremely fast-paced environment serving both residential customers as well as landscapers & contractors who make their living with the products we service.

What you will be doing:
  • Greeting walk-in and phone-in customers needing assistance
  • Ensure that equipment is maintained or repaired as requested by internal or external customers
  • Overseeing and managing the service center’s scheduling and work flow focusing on the minimization of time in shop
  • Proactively communicating the status of a customers’ equipment repair using telephone, texting and email (whichever the customer prefers)
  • Preparing invoices for completed repair or service work and collecting payment
  • Follow up with customers after a repair to ensure satisfaction
  • Seeking manufacturer’s approval for warranty repair and submitting warranty claims
  • Assist customers with rental equipment and service loaners
  • Operate a forklift safely after our training program
  • Communicating with and supporting other departments and/or stores in the company
  • Responsible for communicating need of equipment and/or supplies to management

We are looking for someone with:
  • Extensive experience in a customer service position, equipment or automotive dealership experience a plus
  • High school diploma or GED minimum, Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, with extensive experience with Word, Excel and locating data on the internet
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work some Saturday mornings as required
