Verbio About VDC VERBIO Diesel Canada (VDC) is a subsidiary of VERBIO AG, a well-established, successful biofuel company in Germany. VERBIO Diesel Canada Corporation (VDC) invests in a biodiesel and glycerine production facility in Welland, Ontario. VDC will become one of the leading biodiesel producer in North America with an annual capacity of approx. 150,000 tons of biodiesel and 18,000 tons of crude glycerin. VDC strives for technological leadership in the field of production of renewable fuels. Position Purpose The Vice Shift Leader works as part of a team along with the Process Operators and the Shift Leader in a continuous process manufacturing environment. The Vice Shift Leader works in the process building along and also has the ability to operate the Human Machine Interface (HMI). The Vice Shift Leader can also fill in for planned or unplanned absences for the Shift Leader. The expectations are to ensure a safe work environment while delivering maximum production quantity and the highest product quality. This is done by operating the HMI to move product through processing stages while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of VDC. The Vice Shift Leader reports to the Production Manager for daily schedules and tasks and assists with supervising the Process Operators on shift. Key responsibilities
