We're hiring for a full-time Inside Compact Equipment Sales Rep to join our Wellington, OH location.

We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience, paid vacation, fantastic health, vision and dental insurance, and 401k match.

What you will be doing:
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge on outdoor power and compact utility equipment
  • Investing 85% of your time growing and maintaining relationships with walk in/current clients, pursuing relationships with prospective clients and logging activities in Salesforce
  • Priority sales focus on Outdoor Power Equipment and Compact Tractors, extended warranties, accessories, insurance, and ancillary services
  • Selling other compact and outdoor power equipment as needed
  • Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, preparing finance agreements and submitting paperwork to our award-winning service team to prep equipment for your customers' use
  • Conducting proper equipment demonstrations with qualified customers
  • Asking questions to fully understand customer needs allowing you to make a proper equipment recommendation
  • Making outbound prospecting calls to develop equipment sales opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

We are looking for someone:
  • Who loves interacting with people, derives satisfaction from helping others and genuinely loves sales
  • Who is a sales professional with a methodology of keeping a full pipeline and documented sales performance metrics
  • Who has very strong organizational skills and doesn’t get overwhelmed with a high volume of current opportunities and leads
  • With outdoor power or compact equipment knowledge with preference given to the individual with previous operational experience
  • With the ability to easily detect mechanical problems with machinery (important in evaluating trades)
  • Who has strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of the time value of money
  • Possessing excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Possessing strong computer skills including experience in POS systems, Excel, and CRM technology
  • With the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and return customer communication promptly during and outside of business hours
  • Who can effectively manage time and can prioritize what’s important
  • Who can work weekends & evenings as required based on season
  • High school diploma or GED minimum, associate degree or higher preferred
