Description
Material Handler (12hr Shift) - Erlanger, KY This is a full-time, hourly position. Job Responsibilities: Read, understand, and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheets Check and add all materials listed on the pick sheets Accurately weigh materials for production areas Follow QC sampling procedures and report QC deviations Execute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scanners Pull & return material in approved locations in warehouses Responsible for cycle counting locations Follow ISO9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures Responsible for shipping functions, labeling products and checking customer orders before shipping to the customer Responsible for inventory record accuracy of 96% or greater Required Skills: Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understanding and following company safety procedures Exhibit regular and timely attendance Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details. i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc. Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout an 8-hour shift Wear a respirator Able to stand, walk, lift, reach, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift Employees in this position working at this location are [or may be] exposed to various potential chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and the job requirements.
