About Us The Cornell University Agricultural Experiment Station (CUAES) is dedicated to sustainable "science for life," in its two core separate but related functions the operation of world-class research facilities throughout the state and the generation and application of research-based knowledge through the administration of federal grants. What You Will Do As the S07 Greenhouse Grower you will support the greenhouse supervisor with the daily operations of the CALS Greenhouses and Growth Chambers, a College-wide service facility supporting 18 departments. This position will be primarily responsible for the Purple Greenhouse facilities but can work in other facilities as needed. They will be responsible for highly sensitive and unique research and teaching plant material, this position requires close attention to detail and the best horticultural judgment, while operating within the parameters of project protocols. Key Responsibilities:
This position is a full-time (39 hours/week) UAW position located in Ithaca, New York. There may be a requirement to work some weekends, holidays, and the occasional extended hours. What We Need from You
