What you would be doing: As the Farm Hand – Equipment Operator, some of your responsibilities would include operation of planting, harvesting, and other general farm equipment, hauling/semi driving, servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment both in the field and in the shop, and other general farm duties.
Qualifications: Background in agriculture and/or farming, past farm equipment operator experience, basic mechanical ability and equipment maintenance experience, and semi driving experience preferred.
A little about the business: Innovative Ag Services Co. is a full service farm cooperative offering a complete line of supplies and services to meet all farm needs. They provide products and services to over 5,000 members in the grain, agronomy, feed, energy and building supply markets. They are looking for an Agronomy Sales Advisor in the Eastern Iowa region.
What you would be doing: As the Agronomy Sales Advisor, your primary objective would be to increase volume sales and margin growth by actively selling products and services. Some of your responsibilities would include promoting sales of all IAS products and programs, increasing unit sales, grow margins, and market share, providing necessary information to current and prospective customers, communicating on a regular basis with location team members, working closely with location managers, submitting weekly reports, working with the sales manager, and actively assisting in the development of individual growth and development plans.
Qualifications: Sufficient knowledge of crop production science to advice producers on agronomy plans, products, and services, computer skills, and communication skills.
A little about the business: Agricultural Magnetics Limited (AML) is a technology based company that provides innovative and practical solutions for the agricultural and food sectors. The patented spraying technology known as MagGrow developed by AML allows end users to reduce their chemical and water usage during the pesticide spraying application. They are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team based in California.
What you would be doing: As the Sales Executive, the objective of the role is to establish, promote, and drive sales revenue in the U.S. Some of your responsibilities would include identifying market sector by size, number, and average size of farms, identifying key customer channels, creating and acquiring customer database and segmentation models, developing a sales journey, implementing sales plans using MagGrow sales toolkits, and ensuring delivery and installation of product.
Qualifications: Minimum five years sales management experience in the horticulture and arable sector in the U.S., proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to multitask, and strong administrative and organizational business support skills.
A little about the business: The Maschhoffs is the largest family-owned hog production network in North America. They are currently looking for a WTM Farm Manager to join their team in the Springfield, IL area.
What you would be doing: As the Farm Manager, your primary responsibility would be to oversee the welfare, care, and day-to-day management of the animals. Some of your duties would include promoting and developing all team members’ production, leadership, and organizational skills through daily feedback, formal training sessions, and goal setting, performing local human resource management, assisting in the development and providing input and suggestions to insure the implementation of standard operating procedures, and overseeing the daily production activities of your sites.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, AAS or BS in Animal Science or related agriculture field preferred, two years of experience working in a swine production environment required, knowledge of livestock/swine management and handling.

What you would be doing: As the Crop Assistant, some of your responsibilities would include assisting with fieldwork, assisting with operating feed mill, delivering feed in an efficient and safe manner, assisting with farm and shop projects, and assisting in keeping all farm facilities and yards clean and organized.
Qualifications: Agriculture experience or background, previous experience operating farm equipment, ability to plan thoroughly and make sound decisions, and effective communication skills.
