Marketing Manager – Duluth, GA

AGCO is currently seeking a Marketing Manager (High Horsepower Tractors) to join our North America AGCO Brand Marketing team. The Marketing Manager is responsible for tactical pricing, planning, and communications for key marketing initiatives to drive retail and billing results. The candidate will be considered the expert in their area of specialization; others will come to this individual for their point-of-view, analysis, and collaboration.


  • Work with Marketing Director to develop programs and initiatives that target brand and product growth (margin and market share) in areas of opportunity
  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for tactical marketing activities such as the following:
    • Price realization
    • Campaign development & monitoring
    • New product introduction launch activities (
    • Retail & billing objectives setting and tracking
    • Loan & demo management
    • Production & inventory decisions (pre-S&OP)
    • Marketing tactic identification and budget development
    • Events & shows planning and staffing
    • Establishing training event/content priorities
    • Assisting Marketing Product Specialist during training events
    • People management responsibilities of Marketing Product Specialists, HHP Tractors
    • Assisting strategic marketing for future product input
    • Obtaining competitive insights
    • High horsepower tractor marketing budget management
    • Price list input
    • Product margin performance
    • Order writing program monitoring and achievement

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of post-collegiate work experience in sales, marketing, and/or product management.
  • 5+ years of experience promoting products while developing and executing sales plans, product launches, and marketing plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively and speak to large public groups
  • Technical or mechanical background, with at least one year of experience in agricultural equipment, specifically understanding the functionality of an agricultural machine
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, including creating and giving presentations thus showing verbal and written communication skills to articulate AGCO’s strategies and tactics
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of promotional techniques and supplier or dealer operations
  • Agronomy background or certification preferred
  • Project management experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required
  • MBA or similar preferred

Travel Required:

  • 25% up to 50% of the time
