Sources potential candidates for open professional level positions throughout the GROWMARK System. Focuses on proactively identifying and developing a pipeline of candidates by utilizing multiple strategies and building relationships. including online databases, social media sites, Boolean keyword searching, cold calling contact lists, job fairs and networking to identify top talent for the System. Engages active and passive candidates and builds talent pipelines for future hiring needs.


Sources candidates through extensive name generation research, relationship building, internet searches, message boards, publications, and existing talent pools. Identifies candidates using multiple techniques including cold calling, online databases, social media websites, keyword searches, job boards, contact lists, networking, and employee referrals.

Works with company management teams to understand required skills, experience and education required for current or future potential open positions. Sources and evaluates candidates and provides recommendations to hiring managers and stakeholders.

Develops a talent pipeline to exceed member company business plans and priorities, talent forecasting goals, and recruiting targets by researching, sourcing, screening, interviewing and referring qualified candidates.

Facilitates innovative and competitive sourcing and recruiting strategies based on member cooperative HR recruiting goals, and talent hiring objectives.

Maintains candidate databases in the applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors) of top prospective applicants and intern alumni. Communicates and maintains relationships with candidates to keep them interested for future potential staffing needs.

Promotes company employment brands both online and offline with each communication and interaction with potential candidates and outreach activity.

Responsible for goals related to sourcing services including conversion rates, number of interviews and hires and other recruitment metrics.

Assists Student Recruiters in various recruiting events, career fairs, and classroom visits as needed.


Maintains a current knowledge concerning employment-related legislation.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.


Normally requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Must have proven work experience in candidate sourcing or similar, proven evaluation and decision-making skills and the ability to provide talent acquisition services.

High volume recruitment agency sourcing experience preferred.

Ability to complete the professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or the SHRM Human Resources Management Certificate Program.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite along with report generation skills and the ability to learn and use HR applicant tracking software and other software.

Ability to work hours beyond those considered “normal.”

Ability to transport recruiting materials and assemble career fair displays.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
