The primary responsibilities of this role, Seed Manufacturing Co-Op, are to:
Participates in the execution of HSE, Quality Management System (QMS), and Production System (OnePSS, formerly MPS) programs and elements
May contribute in plant operations such as conditioning, packaging, lab operations, warehouse / inventory management / distribution, carryover, etc. as assigned by the site leadership team
Participates in field operations such as planting, detasseling, field inspections and mapping, harvest, etc
Supports compliance with Global Stewardship and Corporate Quality Management procedures and policies, in addition to Crop Level and site specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Develops influencing skills through motivation, recognition, leadership, and development
Helps identify and implement operational improvements, metrics tracking and best practices and participates in related networks for cross-training.
Receiving and counting product returns (bagging/re-bagging), reworking product and quality sampling and testing
 Data collection and analysis

Pursuing a degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Business, Agriculture Technology Systems, Technology or related field of study
Capability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others through oral or written communications
 Ability to make decisions and solve problems while developing situational judgment
 Results orientation with the ability to work with people individually or in a team to gain commitment to achieve results
Use of a company pooled car may be preferred during the workday – if available at your work site. To be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers – MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening
 Ability to lift up to 60 lbs (a bag of seed)
 Prior Seed Production or agricultural experience.
