The Bunge North America Safety Internship Program is looking for candidates with strong critical thinking and communication skills. During the internship, you will be exposed to various aspects of safety management and will learn from regional safety leaders. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation and build a career in the safety field.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Bunge safety culture by leading various projects
  • Assist in training development
  • Develop a thorough understanding of high potential exposures
  • Develop Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assessments
  • Confined space inventories and labeling
  • Develop machine specific Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
  • Task specific hazard assessments
  • Assist safety leads in verifying the safety integrity of on-site construction projects
  • Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, and/or program managers
  • Analyze data and develop reports
  • Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
  • Assisting with company standards updates


  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Safety
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in standard PC applications
  • Ability to travel
