Under the direction of the Senior Insurance Account Representative, assists with risk management functions.


Conduct on-site visits to member cooperatives to perform property surveys and review property valuations.

Build professional relationships with GROWMARK staff, member company employees, and insurance brokers.


Must be pursuing a major in business studies, preferably a risk management and insurance related curriculum at a 4 year accredited university, with a status of at least a second semester sophomore or junior with a current cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher at the time the position begins.

Must have basic geometry knowledge.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, customer focus, communication, decision making, and skill development.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary.


May assist with insurance renewals.

May attend risk management meetings.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.
