Social Media Specialist – North America

What Will You Do?

Job Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with brand stakeholders to ensure execution of the social media program that supports both AGCO brands marketing efforts
  • Manages AGCO brands social media strategy, platforms and content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and serves as the primary liaison between the business and AGCO’s North America social media agency.
  • Develops and manages social media weekly, monthly and quarterly calendaring. Aligns with the agencies content calendar.
  • Develops, implements, manages and monitors compliance with AGCO’s social governance policies and guidelines to support the further establishment of social media business best practices
  • Creates and manages the development of AGCO social media campaigns aligned with business goals to support key initiatives farm shows, and events.
  • Responsible for monitoring social media conversations and escalating to the appropriate parties as relevant in a timely manner. Also responsible for monitoring analytics and identifying trends and opportunities to support continuous improvement and audience engagement.
  • Responsible for continuing the roll out of Salesforce ‘Social Studio’ platform, including finalizing the initial set up, in order to leverage the tool to support improved community management as well as to support longer term adoption for monitoring, analyzing, publishing and reporting social content in a centralized location that takes advantage of Salesforce’s capabilities
  • Manages reporting to AGCO leadership concerning social media results, opportunities and issues
  • Conducts research, analysis and makes recommendations to ensure AGCO takes advantage of most current digital trends
  • Supports special projects on behalf of leadership

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of PR, Corporate or Product Communications experience utilizing social media platforms.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Social Studio experience preferred.
  • High degree of problem solving and analytical ability. Ability to interact successfully with technical resources as well as business people.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate and target group goals and expectations. Be forward-thinking and able to seek out and apply new technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to consistently demonstrate clear, effective, grammatically correct and open communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing communications best practices and trends.
  • Ability to evaluate communications and public relations programs/campaigns/concepts & determine audience engagement and operational efficiency opportunities.
  • Strong organization skills to manage several time-sensitive projects at once.
  • Functional knowledge of the agriculture industry and product familiarity is preferred, but not required.
