About the role

Note Position could be located in Beloit, WI or Clark, NJ

The Taste Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the activation of the North American taste strategy in collaboration with the Strategic Marketing Director for Taste, the Taste business development team and the end-use-market / channel sales teams.

Additionally, the Taste Marketing Manager is responsible for design, strategy, and execution of the verbal and visual messaging, execution and brand alignment for the various taste technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

Support the activation of the taste strategy reporting to the Strategic Marketing Director for Taste. Lead the development and execution of marketing communication initiatives for our Taste technology brands. Develop compelling stories about our taste technologies that deliver a unique selling proposition to the marketplace.

  • Understand the competitive landscape, staying informed to continue to push and enable differentiated positioning.
  • Working with the Commercial Sales teams, build marketing-to-marketing relationships with Kerry’s key customers, allowing for a deeper understanding of our customers business and the ability to advise on customer engagements.
  • Partner with the Marketing Insights team to deliver high quality, trend and insight driven proprietary research that positions Kerry as a through leader.
  • In collaboration with the global taste organization and the Market Insights team, develop the annual Taste Trends campaign and regional Taste Charts.
  • In partnership with our RD&A teams, help drive innovation and new product development for identified gaps in our portfolio ultimately leading to the development of Strategic Growth Initiatives.

Qualifications and skills
  • BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field.  Advanced degree MSIR, MBA desired.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a contemporary marketing function. Foodservice industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to interact with senior leaders within the organization & Execution oriented
  • Extensive experience pulling together the story objectively
  • Flexible with ability to adapt to shifting priorities, tight timelines, and ambiguity
  • A passion for helping delight and nourish consumers with food and beverage
  • Proven track record of creative project management and execution
