This position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Colorado State Office, Administrative Branch, located in Denver, Denver County, Colorado.

The selectee assists the Executive Officer in planning, coordinating, and monitoring a variety of administrative management services provided to the State and County Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support in monitoring the administration of the Human Resources management program for Federal and County Office employees throughout the State.
  • Serves as the expert on Human Resources by performing various personnel management functions that include preparing job announcements; making preliminary determinations; preparing position descriptions; and preparing onboarding documents.
  • Provides a wide variety of human resource, administrative and technical support services including processing personnel actions, employee benefits and recruitment.
  • Assists in a variety of personnel management tasks.

Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.
