Irrigation Technician

Irrigation Technicians are responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness and efficiency of the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems for our commercial customers. We are seeking motivated, hard-working individuals with at least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and installing irrigation systems.
Potential applicants should have strong communication skills and have the ability to operate various irrigation machinery and tools. Must be able to work independently and prioritize. Dependability is essential to the job
Irrigation Technician
Primary Responsibilities:
Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, install and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves, and performing pump repairs
Spring evaluations and start-up
Winterization and blow-out
Mid-season inspections
Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection and main line location, service performed and parts installed
Qualifications:
At least two years commercial irrigation experience
Ability to identify system repairs and improvements
Ability to troubleshoot and exhibit sound decision making skills
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers and supervisor
Ability to pull, push and lift up to 25 pounds
Punctual attendance
Valid Washington Driver License with a clean record
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) License preferred
