90+ acre farm with approximately 70 tillable acres with diverse soil types. Irrigation water rights to achieve nearly any crop. Looking for someone that can work with the board and can carry this from concept to product developing, leading and executing operations.
Understanding of animal husbandry, row crops and more. This will be a diverse property upon completion, including livestock, nursery, truck garden, and crops.
Mechanic, construction, equipment operation, fencing and other farm and property care related activities will be a regular part of your day. Applicants must have the ability to work independently and with others, plan and execute. Supervise/work with caregivers, volunteers and employees. Have compassion and patience for Alzheimer customers and their families. Farming, youth camp, non-profit, church management or other similar experience is a plus.
Some understanding of technology is required.
Develop and follow budgets. Prior grant writing experience and fundraising experience a plus.
Able to work the hours required to accomplish farming tasks.
Base salary plus housing and crop share.
Clean driving record, clean background – able to pass criminal background.
No marijuana – not an organic centered facility.
