Mason Dixon Farms in Gettysburg, Pa is hiring an Experienced Herd Feed person to join our team on our 1250+ Dairy Farm.
The successful canidate will be responsible for:
- Loading and delivery of TMR feed
- Ready and clean out of feed bunks
- Maintaining forage bins including pitching bad silage
- Maintain feed equipment, greasing, fueling, washing and repairing tractors and equipment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Required Skills:
- Operation of farm equipment and machinery as trained in a safe manner (Front end loader, Skid steer loader, tractors and mixer wagon)
- Basic computer skills
- Communication skills
- Work as either an individual or as a team player
- Reliable and accountable
Every other weekend off, together with a regular day through the week.
Wage:
- Hourly wages will be dependent on skill level and experience
- Job performance will be reviewed annually to be eligible for pay increases
