Your tasks and responsibilities Duties and projects will include:
Preparing design, installation and start-up of automatic process control, material handling, and distributive control systems
Gaining experience assisting with documentation of the process and equipment to meet compliance with ISO 9002 certification
Bayer’s interlock guidelines, and Process Safety Management regulations
Assist with existing/new projects in design, equipment selection, installation, checkout, troubleshooting, and start-up phases
Project development, electrical control drawing approval, programming controller specifications, software development and training
Required Skills:

  • Students must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s engineering degree program and have completed the sophomore year by the start of their internship.
  • Work at the Muscatine, Iowa location for the duration of the term (June-December of 2020)
  • Return to school upon completion of their term with Bayer to continue their program of study

Desired Skills/Experience:
• Prior Co-op or internship experience is a plus
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
