PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Credit Manager, the intern will train, learn and develop skills to perform job functions relating to credit and agri-finance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Trains and assists with general business and customer service functions.
Assists with daily agri-finance and web administration tasks as assigned.
Maintains customer file information under strict confidence.
Utilizes computer software programs associated with agri-finance and web administration.
Assists with coordinating customer on farm visits and company meetings.
Participates in on-the-job training sessions.
Contributes to maintaining the highest level of customer service.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Prefer a student pursuing a Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance Degree at a 4 year university, with a status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at the time the internship begins.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
