Vineyard/Winery Assistant

Clover Hill is actively looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to assist in all aspects of the winemaking and vineyard process. No vineyard or winery experience is required, however we are looking for candidates who have a strong desire to grow with a family owned and operated business.

Farm Mechanic

You will be working on a variety of farm equipment, implements, trucks, semi-trucks/trailers, tractors, combines and more. You will be conducting preventative maintenance while also trouble shooting repairs both in the shop and in the field. Although, your primary role will be maintenance you will be assisting in other areas of the farm.

Farm Manager in Training

You will work alongside the Owners, with the goal of transition into a farm manager position in the future. You will plan the planting, fertilizing and harvesting activities. You will start seeds in the greenhouse to prepare for planting and help transplant them into the field. You will select and apply all chemicals and fertilizers to apply during the growing season. You will assist our team of mechanics with the upkeep and repair of our very specialized equipment and irrigation pivots through the season.

Orchard Worker: Field Production and Market

Black Rock Orchard is a 100 acre sustainable orchard on the MD/PA border. We grow a wide variety of tree fruit, berries and greenhouse specialty tomatoes to sell at busy urban markets in the DC metro area. This job is an entry level orchard job with responsibilities split between general field work and attending markets to sell our fruit. This position is a general orchard field work/market job.

2019 Harvest Intern

Our family owned and operated vineyard and winery have been in Southern Oregon for over 40 years, producing Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Gewurztraminer. We also produce small amounts of Tempranillo and Bordeaux varieties.

For 2019 harvest, Foris is seeking enthusiastic harvest interns to be part of our winemaking team. Good candidates will have a passion for wine, an interest in learning about grape growing and the winemaking process, and be willing to work long hours. Great candidates must be able to work effectively with a team and independently when necessary. This is a temporary position anticipated to start in early September and last to early November.

Assistant Farm Production Manager

Manage all aspects of fruit, vegetable, and greenhouse production; including planting, irrigation, pest control, labor management, harvesting, and all additional aspects of farm crop production. You will be in an active management role that requires attention to detail. You will also be leading our packing house and cider mill operations. Given the broad variety of crops, our high Agri-tourism, and our large diversified team, we’re looking for a strong communicator and collaborator. This position reports to the Farm Production Manager.
