About the Job The GM of Horticulture will oversee agronomy and extension efforts for Connected and Alien Labs production in Florida, as well as emerging markets on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growing plants, helping people, and solving problems - you will apply your knowledge in the field of plant development, production, cultivation and application of technology. This role will be the direct point of contact for site General Managers, focusing on continuous improvements to cultivation facilities and processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise and following the process through to end solutions, as well as implementing and developing SOPs and driving positive change in the cultivation department. Leads key processes to ensure efficient flow of propagation, production and world class post-harvest processing. A successful candidate will be organized, technical, personable and an excellent communicator. This position is based in Florida, with frequent travel to California initially and expansion markets as we increase our footprint in the Eastern US cannabis markets. What You Will Do
What We Are Looking For
Compensation Description (annually): The salary range for this position in the selected city is $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for variable compensation or additional incentives.
