Farm Equipment Operator - Farm Hand - Campbell, Nebraska

Welcome to Bryan Swanson Farms! We are a family owned and operated farm located in Southern Nebraska. We farm 1800 acres of row crops which is mostly irrigated, along with the cash crops we also have a 300 head cow calf operation. We’re hiring a Farm Equipment Operator – Farm Hand to join our team in Campbell, NE (about 40 minutes southwest of Hastings, NE). In this role you will be assisting in all aspects of the farm from operating farm and agriculture equipment during planting and harvesting seasons, to assisting with daily livestock care on the cattle operation.

What you will be doing:

• Assist during planting and harvesting seasons by operating a variety of farming equipment to maximize annual crop performance and yields.
• Maintain and repair farm and agriculture equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on farm irrigation equipment.
• Maintain overall heard health and safety of livestock.
• Operating semi-truck and hauling grain.

This job is for you if you have:

• Prior farm, agriculture, or other heavy equipment operating experience.
• Mechanically inclined.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in both a team and individual setting.
• Self-driven and hard-working.
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
