Position at Pilgrim's

This position will bear the primary responsibilities of datareconciliationandentry,order billingandorder receiving. Additional functions include daily and weekly reporting, adjusting inventory in the data base, accurate record keeping, and other duties as assigned.Reports to Shipping Manager and Supervisor .

Responsibilities:

  • Track and update order changes in Shop-Floor. (E.g.cancelledload, cases added,loadmoved to another dayor plant)
  • Keep track of loads that are carried over or loaded ahead and notify other shipping staff via e-mail.
  • Recordand trackcarrier information, includingcompanyname, trailer number, the customer they arepicking up for,dockin and out times, departure times, pallet count, case count andnetweightonthedaily Truck Log both manually and electronically in Microsoft Excel.
  • Assign carriers/trailers toadock orthewaiting areafollowing a schedule produced by theTransportationPlanner.
  • Usethe Loader’s completedload diagram to compare the number of cases by product code to the order.Validate what they have recordedmatches the order on paper as well aswhat they have scanned to the orderin Shop-Floor.
  • Follow-up rotationon allfinishedorders.RunareportfromShop-Floorto make sure rotation is correct and letthe Loader knowofanychangesthatare necessary.
  • Enter pallettype and quantity, seal number, temperature recorderID numberand temperatureinformation along with thetrailer number when billing a load in Shop-Floor.
  • Keep track of all shortages manually and electronically.Record the order number, customer, product code, product description, how many of that code were ordered, how many shipped, the amount shorted, and an explanationfor the shortage.
  • Print and assemble all documents obtaining signatures from the carrier and the clerk.
  • Close outdepartedorders in Shop-Floor.
  • Document all inbound productand receive orders in Shop-Floor.
  • Manually post orders that have not closed properly in SAP.
  • Generate orderpick sheetsfrom Shop-Floorandtransfer the information toloaddiagrams.
  • Organize and maintainshippingfiles on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for inventory of supplies (printer toner and ribbons, temperaturerecorders,etc.) and requesting more be order in a timely manner.


Qualifications:
  • Above Averagecomputer skills includingSAP.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and written.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Planning, critical thinkingand advanced math skills.
  • Above average safety and attendance record.
  • Must be able to work at a safeand efficientrate with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work overtime and different shifts based on departmental needs.
  • Willing to work some weekends.


Educational Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, vocational school or equivalent
