Dairy Field Service Technician - Garden City, Kansas

Welcome to Advanced Dairy Service! We’re hiring a Dairy Field Service Technician for our Garden City, KS location. In this role, your primary focus is to keep our customer's dairy equipment 'up and running', by providing quality and professional service, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. We pride ourselves in keeping long-term employees who have a wide range of knowledge within the dairy industry and building long-term relationships with our customers all over Kansas and Colorado.

Since its creation in 2008, Advanced Dairy Service, Inc. (ADS) and IBA Dairy Depot have grown to be one of the top dairy service companies in Kansas and Colorado. ADS provides service and maintenance for any dairy equipment or parts that our dairy customers have on their farms. We sell and service equipment for milk parlors, forage handling, robotics, waste handling, water treatment, refrigeration and cooling, laundry cleaning, ventilation, lighting, and more. 

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $20-$28 per hour based on experience along with health, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, and retirement plan.

What you will be doing:

• Provide service, maintenance, repair, and installation of dairy equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment at our dairy farm customer locations.
• Develop and maintain specific knowledge of the Dairy Industry equipment.
• Build Relationships with dairy owners and employees.
• Complete service invoices daily.
• Maintain and service the company vehicle that you will be driving.
• Maintain the accuracy and organization of the inventory on your company vehicle.
• Growing your skill level through ongoing training to maintain and progress proficiencies as a Dairy Service Tech.
• Be an asset to our dairy customers and a sound representation of our company. 

What we’re looking for:

• Experience servicing, maintaining, installing, and repairing dairy farm equipment or other HVAC commercial refrigeration experience or certification.
• Ability to abide by our Core Values of Honesty, Integrity, Quality, and Professionalism.
• Knowledge of dairy farms is helpful - support and training provided as needed to accelerate understanding of dairy operations.
• Driver’s license with ability to drive company vehicle.
