We’re hiring a Welder – Build Crew Member to join our team in Plainfield, WI (about 90 miles southwest of Green Bay).  As a welder-crew member, the Project Crew worker’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, installing, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, sprinkler packages, water hookups, and mainitaining equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate various pieces of equipment such as telehandler, crane, forklift, skid steer, excavator, compressor, and Vermeer.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine greasing and maintenance checks.
• Repair crashed and wrecked machines as necessary.
• Install a variety of different sprinkler systems.
• Repair broken underground wires and pipes.
• Install new irrigation systems.
• Weld aluminum and steel pipe.
• TIG, MIG, and Stick.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Help with all other jobs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Clean driving record.
• Welding experience desired but not essential.
• Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Good work ethic.
• Willingness to learn.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions such as hot weather and rainy weather.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing various tasks such as climbing, lifting, and moving heavy items.
