Laboratory Technician II - Marshall, MN
ADM Corn Processing
This is a full-time, hourly position.

Summary: Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing on dry and liquid products to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity.

Summary of Job Requirements
  • Learns production processes in order to assist in providing recommendations to operators to improve product quality.
  • Performs analysis of in-process samples as they are defined by the lab bench sheets for all areas.
  • Runs tests on all in-process and finished products. Insures that the load out area meets specifications before releasing the product for shipment.
  • Maintains retained samples of shipped products in order to confirm test results, if necessary.
  • Documents results of all testing procedures and promptly notifies processing department operators and supervisors of required adjustments to operating procedures.
  • Performs light maintenance and calibration on all department equipment as required.
  • Maintains ongoing records of the results of all testing procedures and inputs such data into the applicable computer software.
  • Routinely runs calibration checks as defined to ensure that all instruments are operating accurately.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner, utilizing all safety equipment, and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.
Education
  • Two or Four year Science related degree or 2 plus years of work experience in a quality assurance lab preferred
  • A high school diploma or GED required
