What you would be doing: Operating tractors and equipment in the field and/or driving field truck from field to storage (doesn’t require CDL). Standing and grading potatoes and/or driving forklift and other general labor.
Qualifications: No prior farming or production background required. We are looking for individuals that pride themselves on doing a great job. Candidates that have operated heavy equipment and are willing to put in the hours, we can train for the Operator roles.

What you would be doing: In this role, your responsibilities will include making recommendations and sales of fertilizer, chemicals, seed, custom application, and VRT services to our customers. You will be working with an established sales territory that generates around $8 million supply sales annually. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Agronomy preferred, with 3 to 5 years Agronomy sales experience and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques. Proficient in the use of agricultural software and technology.
A little about the business: GreenStone Farm Credit Services is an $8 billion financial services institution with 500 employees in 36 locations throughout Michigan and Northeast Wisconsin. GreenStone provides short term and long-term credit to our customers, as well as a variety of other products and services, such as crop insurance, life and disability insurance, accounting services, tax planning and preparation, and appraisals.
What you would be doing: In this role, your primary responsibility is to provide lending and financing to our rural customers with small hobby farms, land loans, and large acreage house loans. You will be the go-to contact for customers to walk them through the loan process, lending terms, and borrowing options.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, finance, accounting or related field with 3 -5 years of experience in the consumer credit or agriculture industry. Basic knowledge of loan products and services, credit operations and government lending regulations. General knowledge of farm production methods and products. Registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required.
A little about the business: Ag Partners provides products, services and market access in the areas of grain, agronomy, feed and petroleum. Formed in 1997, the company represents a joint venture between Alceco, an Iowa cooperative, and Cargill. The company’s locations include retail and wholesale agronomy outlets, grain facilities and feed mills throughout Iowa.
What you would be doing: Plan and coordinate feed department personnel and operations in a manner that will optimize the company’s market share and savings, improve the company’s efficiency, promote safety, help achieve the company’s missions and goals, and result in outstanding customer service.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional training in supervisory skills, agronomic background and budgeting desired.
A little about the business: Porkhaven Farms, part of Lanehaven Farms Inc., is a wean-to-finish operation located near Waterloo, Iowa. Lanehaven Farms, Inc. (LHF) is a progressive, family owned and operated seed corn, commercial corn, soybean, and hog operation based in Northeast Iowa.
What you would be doing: Responsible for daily chores to ensure proper feed, water, air and overall pig care.
Qualifications: Previous swine experience preferred. Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be innovative and adapt to change. Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
