A little about the business: Harbage Farms is a family-owned farm of grain, hay and livestock located near Springfield, Ohio.
What you would be doing: In this role you will perform a variety of tasks working with livestock, planting and harvesting of crops, farm/barn maintenance as well as any daily tasks as they arise. During the winter months you will focus on servicing equipment and off season farm projects as well as tasks as they arise.
Qualifications: We’re willing to train the right candidate but looking for semi-driving/hauling experience, basic mechanical ability with willingness to learn agriculture equipment and be a reliable team player.

What you would be doing: The role will aid in the testing and evaluation of new biotechnology traits, chemistry, pathology, seed treatment and agronomic system improvement for our products within Technology.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Masters Degree or equivalent experience in Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Soil Science or a closely related field. At least 5 years experience in plant Pathology and ability to coordinate a team of Agronomic Research Specialists conducting independent trial work at other locations.

What you would be doing: Provide leadership to 15+ dairy employees and to assist with herd health and management. Assist in dairy operations and process plus provide general support to the Dairy Manager and Owners.
Qualifications: Experience with large hard dairy with a passion for agriculture.

What you would be doing: In this role, you will provide leadership and management for this regional sales territory and develop sales initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic direction. You will be responsible for retaining current customers as well as developing and attracting new customers, recommending and sharing changes and trends seen in the field and meeting sales goals in targeted markets.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, crop and soil sciences, agronomy, plant pathology or equivalent in a related field. A minimum of 2 years of field sales experience or equivalent within the agriculture / specialty agriculture market

What you would be doing: Assists in the operation of grain department. Weighs grain, obtains sample and records ticket information accurately on all inbound and outbound transactions. Update charts indicating location and contents of storage tanks. Reads thermocables to ascertain grain temperature in storage tank and takes appropriate action to remedy hot spots. Inspects, maintains and safely operates all facilities, equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications: May be required to obtain or maintain a current and valid CDL with ability to obtain appropriate endorsements.
