Swine Nursery Manager for Kendale Farm

A little about the business: Kendale Farm is diverse, family-owned farming and livestock operation located in Bronson, MI. Our swine operation consists of contract farrowing, contract nursery, beef cattle and hay crops. We are in the midst of significant growth within our swine operation.

What you would be doing: We are hiring for a full-time, year-round Swine Nursery Manager to manage the daily operations of 20,000 weaned pigs. You will be overseeing overall pig health, pig movement, sanitation and nursery performance.

Qualifications: Prior swine experience, have a degree in animal science, agriculture or related field, preferred, or equivalent experience, naturally patient in working with young stock and are a stickler for the details when it comes to animal care, and driven and need little supervision with time management and daily oversight.

Sales Agronomist for Tyree Ag Inc.

A little about the business: Tyree Ag specializes in custom aerial and ground application services for crop and livestock producers in southcentral Kansas and northwest Oklahoma.

What you would be doing: Responsibilities include managing an existing customer base and developing customer relationships for future growth. Primary focus of the Agronomy Sales Job will be developing customer relationships, developing crop fertility and crop protection programs, selling fertilizer, crop protection and seed products along with setting up ground and aerial applications.

Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture or Business related field, experience in crop nutrition, crop protection and/or seed. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, CDL not required but preferred. CCA or the ability to obtain preferred, must be a self-starter and self-motivated, must be knowledgeable of basic computer skills and the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; and sales order entry. Candidates must be eligible to legally work in the US

Electrical Service Technician for Central Valley Irrigation

A little about the business: Central Valley Irrigation is a Valley Irrigation dealership providing grower services, irrigation equipment, parts and service to our growers across Central Nebraska. 

What you would be doing: You will be traveling locally within 70 miles on-site to farms to provide both mechanical and electrical repair to irrigation equipment. You will be providing top-notch customers service while troubleshooting, servicing, reconditioning and/or installing systems. Enjoy being out in the elements and in farm fields working on equipment throughout the year.

Qualifications: 6+ years’ experience in maintenance and repair of electrical and/or mechanical systems, ability to work year-round (approximately 50 hours per week), work outdoors in the elements, walking fields of growing crops and lifting 75lbs, an interest in agriculture and working with our farming community, ability to use service related technology and basic computer functions, willingness to travel within the territory.

Vice President – Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Nelson Irrigation Corporation

What you would be doing: Nelson Irrigation Corporation is looking for their next Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing. You will be hired with the intent you will transition into this role as the current Vice President, a well-known and respected 40+ year leader in the industry, moves into retirement. Given the gravity of this role within the organization, the intended transition will require some time as you integrate into the team and culture. In this role, not only will you direct the national and international sales and marketing functions, you will be a part of the leadership team. You will develop relationships in the industry, continue their international presence, develop price points for new products and be in on product development.

Qualifications: BS in engineering, marketing, business or related field; preference to engineering, MBA beneficial but not required. 10+ years of successful experience in sales and marketing including both domestic and international regions with a portion of that time directly involved in the agriculture industry. Direct international sales and marketing experience, and ability to work well with OEMs, and to gain respect and trust. Be a practical manager, balancing sales, marketing and engineering, and willing to add common sense and perspective to product development, pricing, and sales.
