Director – Feed Manufacturing Operations for Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch

A little about the business: Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is a leading egg production and processing company based in Michigan. We supply retail and food service customers nationwide with shell eggs, whole liquid eggs, and hard-cooked peeled eggs. Our premium shell eggs and specialty eggs – including organic and cage-free – are sold under our customers’ store brands and under the names Green Meadow, Herbruck’s, and Eggland’s Best. Herbruck’s has been a distributor of Eggland’s Best, Inc. for nearly 20 years.

What you would be doing: Provide excellent feed products and customer support to Herbruck’s pullet and layer operations.  Develops and provides strategic leadership for Herbruck’s manufacturing operations.  Responsible for mill operations relating to personnel, productivity, mill process improvements, capital projects and food safety program compliance.  This position has a key role in in cross functional leadership teams while overseeing multi-location feed mill operations.

Qualifications: 10 years in Feed Mill operations preferably in multi-site locations. Ability to solve complex problems through innovation, collaboration, creativity and determination. Strong drive for results with strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit. Experience in the agricultural or feed industry. Knowledge of food safety requirements.

Bilingual Production Supervisor for Bonanza Bean

A little about the business: We’re a progressive, state-of-the-art kidney bean processing facility specifically designed to supply our customers with superior quality beans. Established in 2008, with locations in Minnesota and Arizona, we offer the industry’s latest and most efficient processing equipment for cleaning edible beans. We process dark red kidneys, light red kidneys, white kidneys, and black beans. When Mother Nature delivers challenges, such as a wet rainy fall, we utilize the best equipment available to process our product and provide predictable, consistent value for our clientele.

What you would be doing: You will be focused on people, process and equipment along with the execution of the operations strategy in our edible bean facility.  You will be a hands-on foreman, leading a small team (6-9 employees) while working side-by-side with them – extremely limited time behind a desk less than 5% of your time. You will lead all maintenance and reliability of equipment, ensuring routine cleaning and maintenance is done as well as in-the-moment repairs. You will also monitor compliance to SQF and HACCP plans.

Qualifications: Have 4+ years’ experience in the operations and production of milling equipment or relatable equipment. Are fluently bilingual in Spanish and English (required). Strong mechanical ability to work on equipment. Have prior experience leading others and have the ability to train/teach others.

Journey Level Mechanic for Foster Farms

What you would be doing: Insure equipment is operating in a safe and optimal manner. Effectively troubleshoot and repair all equipment in an expert manner. Carry out preventative maintenance efficiently and expertly. Interact with production, co-workers and vendors/contractors in an efficient, safe, and professional manner.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform work at a Journeyman Level, which would constitute advancement to a Journeyman position. Must be familiar with centrifugal pumps, PD pumps, and progressive cavity pumps, understand gear ratios and speeds, use hand and operate power tools.

Farm Hand – Farm Equipment Operator for Red Land Farms

A little about the business: Red Land Farms is a 5,500-acre row crop operation and 350 brood cow herd in Moulton, Alabama. Our location is a great place to live in North Alabama. We have forest to our south that have great hunting and the TN river to our North that provides great fishing and recreation. This company is unique in the fact that we take our cotton and gin it and make our own textiles out of it. We also have a cotton gin here and gin our own cotton.

What you would be doing: We are looking for an experienced Farm Operator – Farm Hand to work on a modern day cotton and corn and cattle farm.

Qualifications: This person ideally would be proficient in driving and operating relatively new JD equipment.  We run 24 row planters , 4038R sparayers. CP 690 cotton picker, and 9870 combine.  If you are experienced in JD Greenstar systems, and CDL would be a plus, and all other aspects of a farm operation. This person should be energetic, responsible, dependable and able to get along well with other employees.
