Supply Chain Manager for Teeter Irrigation

A little about the business: We have over 40 years of expertise in the irrigation business. Through our humble beginnings out of a garage to our growth to nine locations today, our passion for agriculture and serving our customers has remained steadfast.  Our focus at Teeter is to make every drop of water count. We’re a diversified organization; we sell and service Valley Irrigation pivots as well as provide parts for irrigation. We also provide underground installation as well as pivot insurance.  

What you would be doing: As the Supply Chain Manager​ you will be responsible for approval of all inventory for the company including procurement of parts, tools and equipment as well as price negotiation, delivery and credit terms for all locations. You will build relationships with vendors, evaluate agreements and determine the most cost-effective inventory and reorder levels. You will develop processes and practices to manage accurate inventory. Partner with each location to ensure systems and practices are being utilized consistently.

Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, agri-business or relatable field; OR equivalent work experience. CPIM certification is a plus, not required. Prior experience in inventory control management, supply chain, distribution, procurement, warehouse management or relatable field. Prior experience in data analysis and forecasting. Prefer structure and are extremely detail oriented by nature.

Instructor, Ag Mechanics/Power Technologies for Wayne County Schools Career Center

A little about the business: The Wayne County Schools Career Center opened as the Wayne County Joint Vocational School in 1969 to provide vocational training for Wayne County high school juniors and seniors. Educators from all 10 Wayne County school districts and hundreds of local skilled tradespeople, managers, business owners and agencies worked together to ensure that the school met the needs of local business and industry. The vocational school offered 22 trade programs and three academic classes, English, social studies and history, to 490 students, and was centrally located in Smithville.

What you would be doing: You will be ensuring ongoing collaborative and constructive communication with parents and the related professional community, especially with regard to cultivating an active Advisory Committee and high levels of participation in the program’s Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO).

Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience, 3 of those years being the most recent. Must be eligible to receive a two-year license from the Ohio Department of Education. BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required thereafter.

Sow Farm Manager for Kalmbach Swine Management

A little about the business: Kalmbach Swine Management is the leading Ohio pork producer. We entered the industry in 1985 with the purchase of a 600 head farrow to finish operation in Circleville. Through innovative management and dedicated teamwork we have expanded our operations to include eleven farrow-to-wean sow units housing over 30,000 animals. Aside from our Circleville location our farms are primarily distributed throughout western Ohio from Bryan to Marysville.

What you would be doing: In this role, you will be organizing and delegating daily/weekly workflow schedule. Exhibit proficiency in all sow unit skill sets. Oversee proper nutrition, welfare, and medical treatment for all animals. Monitor cost metrics to ensure budget targets are met. Optimize productivity through management of gilt entry, cull matrices, breed planning, and wean schedules. Train, develop, and mentor farm staff. Accurately record data and utilize sophisticated computer software to generate statistical reports. Possess basic mechanical skills needed to perform routine maintenance of facility.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred. 5+ years of supervisory experience. Farm management experience of 2,400+ head of swine.

 Ag Sales Specialist for Ohio CAT

What you would be doing: Build and maintain mutual business relationships with all agricultural producers in assigned geography. What you would be doing: We’re looking for a hard-working individual to assist with the loading/unloading of grain trucks and trains.  Product deliveries to area elevators and local farms can be expected. This team member will also partake in facility housekeeping and other daily operational tasks.  As needed, this person will assist the location manager with additional responsibilities.

Qualifications: This qualified individual must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, possess excellent team work and people skills and looking for a rewarding position with a growing company. The ideal candidate will either have a current CDL or a desire to obtain one within the first 6 months of work, we will be willing to train the right candidate.
