Analytics Developer for Monsanto

What you would be doing: In the Analytics Developer role, the candidate will work closely with the data science group to transition our predictive models into a production environment. In addition, the candidate will also invent and/or expand the impact of in-house innovations across geographies. He/she will work with data from diverse structured and unstructured data sources, and various formats. The candidate will work on all aspects of the design, development, validation, scaling and delivery of analytical solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary scientists internal to Monsanto, organize challenging problems, develop new solutions, and work with business & development teams to ensure these solutions deliver value.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely-related field. At least 3 years of relevant software development experience using R and Python. Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software. A passion for building highly automated systems. Strong business aptitude, the ability to rapidly learn new problem domains, and become conversant in the domain with subject matter experts. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and proven problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to communicate complex qualitative analysis in clear, precise and actionable manner. Creativity in validating and optimizing analytic solutions

Grain Superintendent for Hansen-Mueller Co.

A little about the business: Hansen-Mueller Co. provides grain merchandising and commodity trading for corn, soybeans, wheat and oats as well as other feed ingredients and byproducts.  Hansen Mueller Co. is a growing company with 19 mills and elevators in the United States.

What you would be doing: As a Superintendent (Grain Supervisor), at our Sioux City, Iowa location, you will perform a combination of tasks involved with storing and handling of grain products including loading/unloading grain, determining grain quality, troubleshooting mechanical defects, and operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of agriculture, farming, and grain experience. Minimum of 2 years of management experience. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Agriculture or related field preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to uphold regulatory, company and customer standards.

Farm Mechanic for KTM Farm

A little about the business: We are family owned and operated farm located in the Red River Valley of North Dakota since 1975. What you would be doing: In this role, you will be performing maintenance along with troubleshooting and repairing a fleet of agricultural equipment and trucks.  You will be troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment both in the shop and using our service truck in the fields. You will be mainly focused on maintenance but will assist in other areas of the farm depending on the season.

Qualifications: You have prior experience performing maintenance on heavy equipment such as farm tractors, construction, military or have worked as an ag service technician, diesel tech or have relatable experience. Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical repair and basic welding preferred. You pay attention to the details and prefer to a proactive versus reactive approach to maintenance. You like to work in an environment where it’s organized and the team prides themselves on well-maintained equipment and facilities.
