For more than 150 years we have been breeding and marketing high performance varieties for the modern farmer. Our key crops are sugar beet, corn and cereals as well as oil seed crops and potatoes.
What you would be doing: Work from your home office introducing and establishing hybrid rye into the livestock feed sector to encourage long-term viability and nutritional value for pigs and cattle. You will be responsible for initiating and developing relationships with prospective customers along with continuing to deepen relationships with established customers to discover/create opportunities to meet customer needs. The aim will be to identify key partners for the feed value chain that are ideal for optimal market entrance. This is a combination role where you are focused on business development as well as managing new product development working cross functional to take hybrids from concept to a marketable product. As you are selling you will also be gaining insight as to the needs of the market.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Animal Science, with an emphasis on animal nutrition, or a similar field relevant to the position. Strong computer and analytical skills. Two or more years of experience of livestock nutrition advisement. A strong technical understanding of livestock nutrition and building feed recipes. Ability to work independently, with a willingness to embrace change. Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 50%. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
A little about the business: Seaquist Orchards Farm Market is a family owned and operated seasonal farm market and bakery located in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. We locally grow and process a variety of cherries and apples and produce canned items, fresh baked items, and juices with the fruit. Visitors enjoy our wide variety of gourmet farm products and samples, production viewing windows, and playground.
What you would be doing: You would head the early morning baking from May to late October working 40 or more hours per week. You would be baking pies and apple cider doughnuts along with a wide range of pastries, cookies, turnovers, cakes, and more. You will be starting your day typically at 5am, but can start as early as 3am during peak times/holidays and you would be finishing your shift between 10am – 11am.
Qualifications: Experience in a commercial kitchen and/or culinary school a plus but we are willing to train someone with a passion for baking. Physical ability to stand on feet during shift, lifting heavy trays, ingredients and other items (25-50lbs). Excellent time-management skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude. Flexibility to work in early morning shifts.

We have been providing ag equipment sales and service to farmers, commercial business, large property owners and homeowners. What you would be doing: Manage all service operations maximizing return on investment by optimizing processes and ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. You will be leading all repair and maintenance of our agricultural and lawn & garden equipment. Your focus will be on scheduling and prioritizing work flow, working directly with customers and coaching team members to maximize performance of the department. This is a management role leading 12 FT employees (10 Service Techs, 1 Service Writer, 1 Truck driver) with limited time spent working on equipment.
Qualifications: Must have 3+ years in service, repair, and maintenance of agriculture, farm, diesel, construction and/or heavy equipment with prior management experience, strong communicator that enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction, enjoys a role working directly with customers and can work calmly under the pressure of the busy season and have ability to work extended hours and weekends.

What you would be doing: The Feed Operations Lead at Central Valley Ag is intended to be a developmental position to ready individuals for higher levels of responsibility for the feed division. As our Operations Lead you will be responsible for CVA’s Food Safety Program as well as learning how to manage sales, inventory, equipment and facilities at the feed locations through experience and training at each of the feed manufacturing locations.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Three to five years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL for single and multiple axel truck drivers. Above average speaking and writing skills. Good time management skills. Good problem-solving skills. Must be able to manage financial resources, operational resources and personnel resources.

Experience in managing the development and execution of integrated programs, including media relations, advertising, direct mail, digital marketing, collateral, fulfillment and other communications programs. Experience with supervising a team of communications professionals. Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time.
