What you would be doing: This eight- to 10-week hands-on position will give the intern an opportunity to manage a large, company-wide initiative that is critical to the organization. Business Operations Intern for Pro Ag Management, Inc

A little about the business: ProAg’s Business Operations Internship provides an opportunity to gain diversified experience in crop insurance. The summer internship is designed to provide high potential college students the opportunity to gain critical thinking skills and diversified business knowledge of crop insurance. Through the summer, the Business Operations Intern will work in several departments of ProAg to gain insight to the overall business functions and strategies.

What you would be doing: Under immediate supervision, the Crop Insurance Intern will learn the business operations of crop insurance related to crops, hail, and livestock. This position will work with various departments and assist in day to day operations, including but not limited to Licensing/Regulatory Compliance, Underwriting, Claims Processing, Crop Accounting, Product Specialist, and company-wide training.

Qualifications: 60 completed general college hours with a 3.2 GPA. Preferably studying agriculture, business, or related field. Knowledge of agriculture and agricultural operations is preferred.

Maintenance Supervisor for Foster Farms

Qualifications:  B.A. /B.S. degree preferred. AA/B.S. degree or technical school graduate or a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the food processing industry. Working knowledge of poultry and processing equipment. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills, work well under pressure. Able to evaluate employees fairly and objectively. Balanced technical/mechanical/ human resource knowledge.
