What you would be doing: You will be working closely with the Farm Manager on leading and executing operations. You will be a hands-on leader directly working with a team of 8-10 employees. Our Assistant Managers are training to become Farm Managers as we continue to expand.
Qualifications: B.S. related degree related to agriculture or equivalent experience preferred. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record at all times. Be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
A little about the business: ProAg’s Business Operations Internship provides an opportunity to gain diversified experience in crop insurance. The summer internship is designed to provide high potential college students the opportunity to gain critical thinking skills and diversified business knowledge of crop insurance. Through the summer, the Business Operations Intern will work in several departments of ProAg to gain insight to the overall business functions and strategies.
What you would be doing: Under immediate supervision, the Crop Insurance Intern will learn the business operations of crop insurance related to crops, hail, and livestock. This position will work with various departments and assist in day to day operations, including but not limited to Licensing/Regulatory Compliance, Underwriting, Claims Processing, Crop Accounting, Product Specialist, and company-wide training.
Qualifications: 60 completed general college hours with a 3.2 GPA. Preferably studying agriculture, business, or related field. Knowledge of agriculture and agricultural operations is preferred.

What you would be doing: Direct and supervise shifts maintenance for Porterville Processing Plant. Monitor and maintain correct required maintenance records and use those records to conduct analysis and generate reports. Conduct an aggressive continual and on-going safety program and more.
Qualifications: B.A. /B.S. degree preferred. AA/B.S. degree or technical school graduate or a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the food processing industry. Working knowledge of poultry and processing equipment. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills, work well under pressure. Able to evaluate employees fairly and objectively. Balanced technical/mechanical/ human resource knowledge.

Qualifications: High school diploma. 1 – 2 years related work experience. Be punctual and work efficiently during hours as defined by weekly schedule. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
