What you would be doing: Sow Barn Supervisor will be the location manager overseeing production of a 5,000 sow unit and leading up to 20 employees. Enjoy our progressive operation including electronic sow feeding (ESF), top-notch biosecurity practices and open pen gestation. You will report to the Regional Manager and will be a hands-on manager overseeing operations including employee management, performance management, compliance and safety. You will lead with a focus on efficiency, maximizing capacity and developing the team.
Qualifications: You have prior livestock management; prior swine management preferred, but open to other livestock backgrounds such as dairy and heifer management. You have a Bachelor’s degree in animal science, livestock management, agriculture, agribusiness or related field preferred; or a minimum of five years related experiences and/or training. You are naturally analytical and can understand what the numbers are telling you. Be able to solve problems in the moment and make adjustments for future improvements. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can physically be standing on your feet a majority of the day with the ability to lift 50 lbs.

What you would be doing: This position is responsible for executing specific projects and activities for Consumer Value Added Fresh Pork and Beef that is sold in Retail and Club Channels.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience in Management with experience in managing budgets, forecasting and/or analytics. Special Skills: Proven cross-functional influencing. Ability to analyze syndicated data and provide insights. Demonstrated bias for action and ability to manage projects independently from start to finish. Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. CPG marketing experience preferred but not required.

What you would be doing: The essential function of this position is to provide exceptional customer support through ensuring the accuracy of inventory movement and warehousing. Accuracy in both shipping and inventory are paramount. The individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.

Qualifications: 2 years dairy feed sales experience or related field. Organized, professional demeanor willing to work in a team environment with coach, dealer, and producer. Active participation in Purina coaching process. Bilingual written and spoken (English / French). Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada. Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Ag Business, or related Agricultural degree or Technical degree in Animal Science or husbandry is a plus but not a must. Willing to relocate and accept new challenges.

Qualifications: Above average speaking and writing skills. Good time management skills. Good problem-solving skills. Must be able to manage financial resources, operational resources and personnel resources. Good judgment and decision-making skills. Mathematics and accounting skills to solve problems, perform calculations and must be able to understand fundamental accounting skills. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
