What you would be doing: We are growing and are currently looking for an Assistant Farm Manager for our Bastrop, TX farm location (30 miles from Austin). You will be working closely with the Farm Manager on leading and executing operations. You will be a hands-on leader directly working with a team of 8-10 employees. Our Assistant Managers are training to become Farm Managers as we continue to expand.
Qualifications: B.S. related degree related to agriculture or equivalent experience preferred. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record at all times. Be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
A little about the business: Bonanza Bean is a progressive, state-of-the-art kidney bean processing facility specifically designed to supply our customers with superior quality beans. Established in 2008, with locations in Minnesota and Arizona, we offer the industry’s latest and most efficient processing equipment for cleaning edible beans. We process dark red kidneys, light red kidneys, white kidneys, and black beans. When Mother Nature delivers challenges, such as a wet rainy fall, we utilize the best equipment available to process our product and provide predictable, consistent value for our clientele.
What you would be doing: You will be focused on people, process and equipment along with the execution of the operations strategy in our edible bean facility. You will be a hands-on foreman, leading a small team (6-9 employees) while working side-by-side with them – extremely limited time behind a desk less than 5% of your time. You will lead all maintenance and reliability of equipment, ensuring routine cleaning and maintenance is done as well as in-the-moment repairs. You will also monitor compliance to SQF and HACCP plans.
Qualifications: Have 4+ years’ experience in the operations and production of milling equipment or relatable equipment. Are fluently bilingual in Spanish and English (required). Strong mechanical ability to work on equipment. Have prior experience leading others and have the ability to train/teach others.

What you would be doing: Analyze trial balance and detailed general ledger accounts for unusual amounts or amounts posted to incorrect accounts on a monthly basis. Generate detailed expense reports as requested by Controller for evaluating budget variances and for new crop year budgets. Assist plant management with inventory physical count reconciliations to MS Dynamics SL balances and recording. Reconcile accounts receivable collections and related broker commissions due. Review automated broker commission statements for discrepancies including incorrect commission rates.

What you would be doing: Work closely with our current dealer and distribution channels while focusing on expanding our sales, service and parts distribution within the territory. Be a true partner and coach with our dealers to maximize product performance and customer satisfaction. This territory is a growth area for agriculture, looking for an individual to focus on building and maximizing market share gain.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree plus relevant experience. Five (5) years of agri-business experience. Must be willing to do extensive travel (up to 70%). Residency in Arizona, Southern California, Utah, or Nevada
A little about the business: We are a diverse, family-owned farming operation located in Bronson, MI (south central MI). Our swine operation consists of contract farrowing, contract nursery, beef cattle and hay crops. We are in the midst of significant growth within our swine operation. We’re looking for individuals who want to join our team of progressive and dynamic thinkers.
What you would be doing: This is a combination role where you will be transporting pigs locally, assisting in nursery pig care, pig movement and assisting in other areas of the farm. You will enjoy a wide variety of tasks, although your two main focus areas will be transporting pigs and assisting in the nursery. We are progressive operation and we work closely with our team to ensure high compliance with biosecurity protocols.
Qualifications: You’re perfect for this role if you have prior experience in working in agriculture or have an understanding of it and would be comfortable and patient in working with young livestock, you are a stickler for details and know the importance of thorough disinfection of trailers and detailed tracking of logs, you are flexible in being given a variety of different tasks depending on the season, you are mechanically inclined, you are physically capable to perform the roles and be standing on your feet most of the day besides driving/operating.
