We are a fast-growing company seeking a Nursery Foreman to help manage day-to-day yard operations.

What you would be doing:

  • Manage 3-6 employees effectively and efficiently
  • Manage and treat pests
  • Irrigation repair and maintenance
  • Greenhouse and nursery repair and maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and weed-free yard

Qualifications: 

  • Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to work and manage others effectively and efficiently
  • Must be able to identify some tree, plant, and cactus varieties
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel and twist continuously throughout the day

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Ag Communication, Agronomy, or a related field with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in agribusiness
  • Strong communication skills: must be fluent in English with the ability to read, write and present technical information one-on-one and to large groups
  • Working knowledge of customer segments and needs, including crop production and input practices, suppliers, wholesalers, retailers and growers
