What you would be doing: 

  • Maintain and work with current customers understanding their soil types and production needs, product performance and program effectiveness 
  • Proactively seek new and profitable grower accounts to drive business growth; continually develop relationships within the community
  • Understand the full product line and be able to consult on product placement
  • Assist in the logistics of moving and delivery products to customers
  • Oversee warehouse operations and coordinate day-today tasks


  • Agronomy / seed sales, extensive agriculture or crop health knowledge
  • Self-starter with a passion for sales with patience of working with a longer sales cycle
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and diligence

Precision Ag Specialist at Raven Applied Technology

What you would be doing: 

  • Coordinate service and training to Raven customers.
  • Ensure distributors have sufficient knowledge to market and provide field support for Raven’s products.
  • Work with Sales Representatives to ensure distributor support and dealer development activities are carried out as detailed in the market/territory plans.
  • Work with marketing to carry out grass roots marketing campaigns established for the market/territory.
  • Evaluate market/territory for account coverage and performance and develop a comprehensive distributor and dealer development plan.
  • Interact with service, sales, engineering, and other Raven departments to achieve market/territory, division, and corporate goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, agronomy, or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in sales or service of technical products or services required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, team members and customers.

Farm Operator at Walker Farms

A little about the business: Walker Farms is a progressive farm operation growing corn, soybeans, and wheat and is looking for another key employee to help drive the business forward. Our operation is also involved in excavating and tiling, selling Beck’s Hybrids, and baling large square bales of straw.

What you would be doing:

  • Operating large farm, application and precision ag equipment
  • Driving truck
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Completing written and/or electronic records
  • Participating in tiling and excavating
  • Assisting with agronomy
  • Operating a modern grain handling facility.


  • MUST have large farm equipment experience.
  • MUST be able to operate semi’s to haul grain, straw and equipment (CDL preferred, but not required)
  • Be safety conscious at all times and have the ability to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions
  • Ability and willingness to communicate with management on ideas for improvement
  • Be willing to work as a team and assist others depending on the task at hand
  • Willingness to work longer hours during peak seasons

Business Development Manager at ProAg

What you would be doing: 

  • Generate new business through outside sales and marketing that supports regional sales growth and profitability and will meet or exceed the marketing goals within ProAg’s business plan.
  • Develop a strategic marketing plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents. Drive additional business through a variety of means including agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence.
  • Become a subject-matter expert on ProAg’s products, business and applications as well as staying up-to-date on industry trends.


  • At least five years of sales and marketing experience and five years of crop insurance or relevant experience.
  • Must be an exceptional communicator, with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
  • Required to travel outside normal work location, travel is up to 75 percent
  • Must have the ability to work independently, focusing on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy to succeed.
  • The ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word). Nice to have Sales Force experience.
