What you would be doing: As the Elevator Worker you would be responsible for dumping and loading trucks, operating a grain dryer, assisting with grain handling, and general maintenance duties as necessary.
Qualifications: A high school education is preferred, must have basic computer skills, have regular attendance and a commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture.
A little about the business: Licht Pork & Plow, Inc is a family owned swine, corn and soybean operation located in northwest Iowa, south of Ayrshire, IA. They currently own 7,300 head of hogs, and contract feed 8,800 head while also growing corn and soybeans.
What you would be doing: As the Swine Farm Technician you would provide daily care for swine from wean to finish including giving shots, sorting & loading, ventilation, daily record keeping, vaccinating, and other hog related jobs. You will also assist on the crop side by hauling grain, dry corn, operate tractors and help in other areas.
Qualifications: Experience with swine strongly preferred but willing to train someone that has worked in other areas of agriculture or farming.
A little about the business: American Dairyco owns and operates three dairies in the southeastern United States. They have a total capacity of over 10,000 cows and are capable of producing over 200 million pounds of milk per year.
What you would be doing: As the Dairy Parlor Lead you would lead parlor operations by coordinating work schedules, training new staff and making sure parlor operating procedures are being followed.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year in a dairy parlor, preferable with supervisory experience, high school diploma and able to lift 50 lbs.
A little about the business: Central Valley Ag (CVA) is a member-owned farmers cooperative located in central and northeastern Nebraska. Established in 2003, CVA has 365 employees across our trade area that provide agronomy, grain, and feed services to over 10,000 farmers and ranchers.
What you would be doing: As a Regional Sales Manager, Agronomy at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for managing sales of the agronomy products and services in the trade area. You will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. You will identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales earnings.
Qualifications: A four year college degree in a related field and/or ten years of agricultural retail experience. Minimum of five years coaching/guiding a sales team.
A little about the business: Bayer is a global enterprise with core competencies in the Life Science fields of health care and agriculture. Its products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their quality of life. Their Bayer Crop Science division is looking for a National Marketing Manager to join their team in California.
What you would be doing: As the National Marketing Manager, you would focus on the marketing of fruit and vegetable seeds through two channels, direct to their growers and to their distribution network. You will be based out of Acampo, California and will travel 40-50% domestically with 1-2 trips to Netherlands each year. Some of your responsibilities would include supporting the development of medium term marketing strategy and plan, supporting and aligning with the national sales manager, and driving customer and partner segmentation.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a preference in marketing or related field, MBA preferred, at least 5 years’ of related experience in business-to-business or business to consumer marketing, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to analyze data and trends.
