Dairy / Herd Manager with Potential Ownership at Cary Dairy

A little about the business: Cary Dairy is a family-owned, 1,200 head dairy operation in Battle Creek, Michigan. What you would be doing: 

  • Optimize milk production and animal health to ensure profitable dairy business
  • Provide a clean, comfortable, safe and positive environment for livestock and employees
  • Communicate with team to ensure proper procedures are followed (i.e. sick cow treatment, dry cow treatment, down cows, vaccination schedules)
  • Work closely with the Owner and Operations Manager to continually improve practices to maximize productivity and herd performance
  • Manage 20+ employees overseeing safety, training, quality, scheduling, adherence to protocols and animal handling


  • Experience and strong understanding of a dairy operation
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to repair equipment

Territory Sales Southeast at Intergro

  • You have proven agricultural sales experience with either ag equipment, fertilizer, chemical and/or soil amendments preferably with specialty crops
  • You enjoy extensive travel throughout a large territory with a target of 75% travel 
  • Hold a Bachelor or Associate degree preferably in agri-business, agriculture, agronomy, crop and soil sciences, plant pathology or related field

Timber Cutter at Farmers Grain & Ag, LLC

What you would be doing:

  • Perform tree cutting and skidding (logging) operations
  • Conduct logging operations under supervision of Foreman
  • Trail and road maintenance and construction
  • Operate chainsaw and various power tools to cut timber to appropriate size for transportation
  • Load timber onto trailer and ensure safe transportation
  • Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain equipment and keep warehouse and facilities clean and organized
  • Assist with general farm duties when required, such as equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and cleaning, and equipment operation      


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on farm and/or forestry work experience is preferred
  • Possession of Class A CDL or willingness and ability to obtain preferred; willing to train
  • Basic chainsaw operating and use of power equipment
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and temperatures
  • The ability to lift up to 45-50 pounds and be able to climb, bend, kneel and work on feet throughout the day
  • The ability to work in a smaller 2-4 person team
  • A solid work ethic and a good reputation for attendance/punctuality

  • Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions
  • Customer repair work performed at Company location shop as well as customer farm locations
  • Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools
  • Maintain and drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for on-site repairs


  • Has complete understanding of, “Theory of Operation,” and programming needs of either GS3, GS4, Viper Pro, Viper 4, Ag Leader, Tremble 600-700 receivers, can-buss, and ISO buss control systems.
  • Capable of efficient usage of Arc, MiG, and Tig welding and general fabrication capabilities of the prior mentioned.
  • General mechanical ability required.
  • Integrity and good judgment skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Must be a quick learner and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents required.
  • Must have the ability to develop content for customer/patron and prospect correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Two to three years’ experience in farm equipment maintenance required.
  • Hazardous and tanker endorsements preferred.
