What you would be doing:

  • Create, implement, and maintain standard growing best practices and operating procedures
  • Coordinate production to meet wholesale needs
  • Hire, train and manage a team of growers
  • Maintain plant health while maximizing production
  • Monitor Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and evaluate performance in production and quality

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ yrs of commercial, regulated, and licensed cannabis growing experience, which may include experience as a lead grower, lead cultivator, grow manager, cultivation manager.
  • Experience in multiple different grow mediums.
  • Strong cultivation, plant nutrient and IPM knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to measure against KPI

Load Out Lead – Potato Grading for CSS Farms

What you would be doing: 

  • Provide oversight in the process of grading and shipping potatoes; lead the grading line crew to execute daily work safely and effectively
  • Coordinate load schedules with the Storage/Wash Plant Manager
  • Assist with potato quality management and communication of quality specification to meet customer service requirements
  • Provide maintenance assistance when needed to ensure sorting line equipment is operating effectively
  • Lead sorting line crew to execute cleaning and disinfecting protocols
  • Perform other general farm responsibilities with team as directed by Farm Manager

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years’ experience working on or leading agricultural grading lines
  • Previous experience following shipping schedules
  • Previous experience working with potatoes or other vegetable crops
  • 2+ years’ experience in potato storage
  • A valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one as well as pass vehicle insurance verification.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and communicate well.
  • Self-directed, yet consensus driven, with the ability to implement solutions with team input.

What you would be doing:

  • Travel on-site to farming operations conducting all sales activities and business development from lead generation through close. This includes prospecting new accounts, relationship building and servicing existing accounts.

  • Layout and design for Irrigation Systems and Infrastructure.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of product knowledge and proficient with Valley mapping software.

Qualifications: 

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business or related field or Associates degree and 5 years of related experience
  • Must be willing maintain or obtain a Certified Crop Advisor certification within 1 year of employment
  • Demonstrates passion for exceeding customer needs and the ability to influence to close the sale and help customers to take optimal decisions
  • Comfortable in challenging customers and play the role of a change agent to help them improve their operations
  • Strong listening skills to carefully and effectively appreciate unique customer needs and align them into compelling value propositions
  • Oral communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
