Agronomy Sales Advisor for Innovative Ag Services

What you would be doing: 

  • Promote the sales of all IAS products and programs with primary emphasis of crop protection products, plant food, seed, agronomy programs and services.
  • Increase unit sales, gross margins, and market share by aggressively contacting and selling current and potential customers with in an assigned area.
  • Provide necessary information to current and prospective customers to support products and programs, and assist customers in making production and business decisions.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with location team members to keep them abreast of current crop production and business practices; products, programs, and services; and customer/prospect activity.
  • Work closely with location manager to coordinate product inventories and distribution to customers.
  • Work with Sales Manager to quickly resolve any concerns or complaints brought forward by current or prospective customers.


  • Possess sufficient knowledge of crop production science to advise producers on agronomy plans, products and services to secure efficient production, higher yield and improved quality.
  • Computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate information or ideas effectively in written or oral form.
  • Ability to organize, deal with change effectively, and work on multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent with education and experience.
  • Requires static strength to lift, push, pull, or carry objects with a minimum weight of 50 pounds. Also, flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Also, trunk strength and ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time. Some tasks involve repetitive motion.

HACCP Coordinator for Central Valley Ag (CVA)

What you would be doing: 

  • Development, implementation, maintenance, and validation of the Company’s HACCP Program. 
  • Monitoring and auditing the Company’s HACCP Program for each Feed Location 
  • Development and implementation of HACCP training and certification for specific Company employees and management 
  • Perform HACCP audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure regulatory compliance 
  • Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on HACCP initiatives, changes and committees 
  • Directly supervises front line employees in conjunction with Location Managers including training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work in regards to safe feed production compliance; addressing complaints and resolving problems in conjunction with location manager. 


  • Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college  
  • 3-4 years’ experience in a progressively responsible HACCP related position.  
  • Leadership aptitude and effective communication skills.  
  • Strong work ethic.  
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license. 
  • Class A CDL with Haz-Mat, Tanker and Air Brakes Endorsement a plus

Farm Manager for Island Grove LLC

  • Ensure consistent and accurate tracking of all field data; planting, spraying and harvesting
  • Execute all organic operations and programs.
  • Oversee harvesting and packing operations production.
  • Managing of budgets.


  • Bring prior agriculture/ horticulture production experience, ideally with 4+ years in specialty crops.
  • Are knowledgeable and have strong understanding of farming practices.
  • Are bilingual – Spanish/English.
  • Can easily navigate computers systems, excel, word, etc.
  • Can operate tractors and have basic mechanical experience.
  • Have the ability to work longer hours during peak seasons.

  • Communicate and implement Stine’s sales programs and policies within the assigned territory in order to meet sales goals for the district  
  • Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory 
  • Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller 


  • Three or more years of sales experience; preferably in agriculture, agronomy, seed and/or ag equipment   
  • Prior success in relationship sales with a longer sales cycle  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques, as well as excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.  
  • Self-starter who can develop daily and weekly goals with little direction  
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values and achieve desired results
