What you would be doing: 

  • Operating large farm, application, and precision ag equipment
  • Truck driving
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Completing written and/or electronic records
  • Participating in tilling and excavating
  • Operating a modern grain handling facility

Qualifications: 

  • MUST have large farm equipment experience.
  • Be safety conscious at all times and have the ability to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Ability and willingness to communicate with management on ideas for improvement.
  • Be willing to work as a team and assist others depending on the task at hand.
  • Willingness to work longer hours during peak seasons.
  • Have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and disciplined with attention to details.
  • Have strong basic math skills.
  • Ability to make decisions on the fly without supervision and complete a job to the best of your ability.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Pecan Grove Farms

What you would be doing:

  • Conduct maintenance and repair farm equipment, trucks, and processing equipment.
  • Operate agricultural equipment throughout the season and assist with farming activities.
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance projects in coordination with harvest schedules.
  • Execute maintenance on electric and diesel motors, irrigation systems, and hydraulic systems, variable speed drives and equipment fleet.
  • Build and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance plans and record keeping.
  • Manage the shop and inventory along with ordering spare parts and ensuring critical parts are on-hand during peak season.

Qualifications: 

  • Are interested in operating equipment and assisting with farming operations
  • Enjoy working in an agricultural environment
  • Possess basic mechanical skills in a variety of heavy equipment and/or farm equipment

Regional Agronomy Sales Manager for Stine Seed Company

What you would be doing: 

  • Learn and understand day-to-day needs and issues of assigned ISRs through regular communication and by spending a minimum of 3 days a month in the territory with the ISR.  
  • Develop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory 
  • Assist ISRs in the development and management of key prospect lists, new dealers, direct grower recruitment, and monitor their progress toward stated goals.  
  • Assist with development, design, planting and harvest of Yield in the Field (YIF) plots.
  • Understand and implement marketing initiatives while driving key products and services in key target markets   
  • Communicate and implement Stine’s sales programs and policies within the assigned territory in order to meet sales goals for the district 

Qualifications: 

  • Three or more years of sales experience in agronomy, crop health and/or seed  
  • Prior success leading a sales team   
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and an ability to coach  
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with multiple team members to meet established goals
