What you would be doing:

  • Work closely with VP of Sales to drive yearly sales growth
  • Develop an understanding of the customer’s needs and overall business to recommend best services
  • Work with our clients to problem-solve and develop tailored solutions especially with larger organizations
  • Manage and execute contracts with clients
  • Partner cross-functionally with recruiters who will be the main point of contact during the recruiting process

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years strong sales experience selling solution-based services; agricultural or HR solutions background would be nice-to-have, not required
  • Proven ability to work with a variety of individuals from operations managers to small business owners to executives in larger corporations
  • High-drive, entrepreneurial mindset, and proven track record of success
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred

Senior Service Technician for Plevna Implement Company

What you would be doing: 

  • Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment
  • Work directly with farming customers in order to communicate repairs made, share available products and services to meet their needs and provide instruction on Ag equipment and technology

  • Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons, ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physical duties of job
  • Ability to use service-related technology and basic computer functions
  • Valid driver’s license, high school diploma, clean driving record and background check

Cattle Breeding Tech and Ranch Manager for Double 8 Cattle Company

A little about the business: Double 8 Cattle Co. is a family-owned farm in Central Ohio. Proud members of the American Wagyu Association and the Australian Wagyu Association, we raise a herd of 100% Fullblood Wagyu on our 238-acre farm.

What you would be doing: 

  • Responsible for providing assistance by helping to prepare the soil, plant, spray the crops to eliminate diseases and pests, and harvest a variety of grain and grass type crops. Operate farming equipment. Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
  • Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Order food for animals, and arrange for its delivery. Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions.
  • Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Maintain growth, feeding, production, and cost records. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment.
  • Assist in the fabrication of shipping containers. Assist in the organization and collection of all shipping materials.
  • Assist with Customer Service inquiries both via phone and email.

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent physical stamina
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Excellent physical condition, dexterity, endurance and grip strength
  • Good perception skills and strong attention to detail
  • Previous working experience in an agriculture or farm environment required
  • Active and Valid Driver’s License (CDL Desired)
  • Must be willing to work a non-traditional and flexible schedule, based on evolving operational needs.

  • Schedule production to meet agronomy plant requirements; accounting for proper sequence, clean-out procedures, products ordered and current inventories.
  • Supervise agronomy plant maintenance to ensure proper operation, repairs, and preventive maintenance requirements are met.
  • Oversee and manage inventories, both ingredients and finished products.
  • Supervise training for personnel in regards to job duties, safety, equipment requirements and quality control to insure proper functions of assigned duties.

Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of agriculture retail experience
  • Must be able to work extended hours in season
  • Must understand basic business principals of inventory management
  • Ability to stand, sit, twist, bend, lift up to 75lbs
