What you would be doing: 

  • Manages customer relationships and sales performance for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborates with sales team and aftermarket managers to achieve established sales goals.
  • Provide support and guidance to sales team on customer financing options and assist in the close of larger sales
  • Collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager to manage the reconditioning process and repair budget for used equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for asset or capital improvements and make necessary requests to leadership for approval. Project management and implement approved capital improvement changes.
  • Lead to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction with all existing customers and help resolve any elevated customer issues with the involvement of the corporate aftermarket manager on unresolved product issues.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and overall performance with experience in the agriculture industry
  • Are a strong communicator that enforces and monitors effective processes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Have experience in project management, vendor management and working closely with cross-functional teams/projects

Grain Superintendent for Central Valley Ag (CVA)

What you would be doing: 

  • Manage and train grain employees at the location.
  • Coordinate movement of grain, including receiving, grading, loading, and storage among elevator facilities to maximize profitability.
  • Regulate the grain inventory at the location and communicate inventory levels to supervisor.
  • Assists in monitoring grain storage and condition to maintain excellent grain quality, including ensuring proper aeration, checking temperature, and sampling quality.
  • Oversee maintenance of buildings and equipment at the grain elevator, including grain dryers, fans and motors
  • Manage the customer base through excellent customer service and customer relations.

Qualifications: 

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in the ag industry with an understanding of grain. Experience with quality, inventory, blending, conditioning and management of ground piles is preferred. Prior experience as a grain laborer, grain operator or similar role would prepare you well for this.
  • You have great communication skills. Prior management experience is not required.
  • You have good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • You have a Class A CDL license, or the ability to obtain it.
  • You have a HS Diploma or GED.

Farm Operator for Oomen Farms

What you would be doing: 

  • Operating farm equipment such as tillage, sprayers, harvesters and other farm equipment.
  • Hauling seed, fertilizer, fuel to and from main location to fields.
  • Assisting with light equipment maintenance in the shop and in field. 
  • Assisting with irrigation including applying fertilizer through pivots, putting in and taking out pumps each season and helping with basic repairs.
  • Performing general farm labor such as building upkeep, grounds maintenance, etc.

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment on a farm or in relatable fields such as military or construction
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to assist with repairs
  • Flexibility in working in all areas of the farm along with a solid ability to communicate clearly
  • The ability to solve problems in-the-moment and are a self-starter
  • CDL A license or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire
  • Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance of equipment and repairs
  • Physically be able to lift 50-75lbs, work outside in the elements and be on your feet on/off throughout the day.

What you would be doing:

  • Oversee various operations including, but not limited to, efficiency, organization, purchasing, marketing, and customer relations.
  • Provide high level of customer service to current and walk in customers.
  • Support of Nutritionist’s work.
  • Inventory tracking as well as ingredient purchasing
  • Maintain current formula and feed tag information using MS Excel and MS Publisher
  • Customer service such as answering the phone, completing and processing customer orders, greeting walk-in customers, and completing customer literature requests

Qualifications: 

  • BS Degree.
  • 2 years’ experience working in an office.
  • Good Computer Skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel, and Publisher.
  • Prior agriculture/farming/agribusiness experience.
  • A positive attitude, good work ethic, and the ability to pay careful attention to details and accuracy
