What you would be doing: 

  • Execute communication objectives that highlight the company’s and division’s mission and values, internal culture, and business strategy
  • Work closely with key partners and stakeholders across the company to ensure strategic internal and external communications are in alignment and successfully executed
  • Create engaging and accurate communications on tight deadlines for a diverse array of print and digital assets including but not limited to company communications, employee-engagement communications, and event/social communications
  • Easily shift writing style and tone dependent on audience and goal
  • Transform complex and sensitive information into digestible content
  • Facilitate writing projects


  • Strong writing and editing capabilities
  • Proven digital marketing experience
  • Excellent sense of design, composition, and aesthetics. Experience with In-Design and PowerPoint software necessary
  • Strong time management, planning, prioritization and project management skills
  • Adaptable and flexible: ability to work under tight timelines (sense of urgency) and changing requirements
  • Attention to detail and diligent follow-through with team members
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business

Farm Hand – Equipment Operator for Vollmer Farms

A little about the business: Welcome to Vollmer Farms & Cattle. We’re a family owned and managed farm located in Northeast Colorado. We farm 5,000 acres of irrigated corn, sugar beets, wheat and alfalfa hay. We also run 180 cow/calf pairs and background 2600 head of calves in the winter. We are passionate and dedicated to agriculture, the environment and taking care of our crops and livestock.

What you would be doing: 

  • Operating farm equipment such as tractors, combines, planters, etc.
  • Light maintenance and repair on heavy equipment.
  • Semi-truck driving during harvest season.
  • Operation and maintenance of crop sprinkler systems.
  • Taking care of livestock such as feeding, sorting, gathering, vaccinating, checking fencing, etc.
  • Other general duties around the ranch as necessary.


  • Motivated and passionate about learning and performing a diverse set of farm related tasks.
  • Experienced with farming, agriculture, cattle, heavy farm equipment, and or/ other farming activities. However, we are willing to train the right person.
  • Comfortable around heavy equipment, livestock, and are mechanically inclined.
  • A hard worker that is self-motivated, can work well with others and can work independently.
  • Someone who enjoys working outdoors and are comfortable with the longer hours especially during peak seasons.
  • Passionate about the agriculture industry or have relatable skills and looking to get into farming.

Regional Agronomist for Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI)

What you would be doing: 

  • Identify plant fertilization needs and benefits using TKI Crop Vitality products for PNW cropping systems.
  • Design and implement appropriate field testing and demonstration trials to fill knowledge gaps that support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Work with TKI Crop Vitality Sales Team, Agronomists, and Marketing colleagues to develop technically sound marketing messages.
  • Travel with Crop Vitality Sales Team and Agronomists to support sales and present relevant research and information.
  • Work with the TKI Crop Vitality Learning Center staff to conduct field, greenhouse, and laboratory research that supports sales and enhances product knowledge.
  • Research competitor’s product offerings and evaluate potential licensing, acquisitions and develop new products in line with company goals.


  • A master’s degree in crop science, soil science or agronomy is preferred or a bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Possess a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) license or willing to obtain one within one year.
  • Strong communication skills: must be fluent in English with the ability to read, write and present technical information one-on-one and to large groups.
  • Knowledge of specialty fertilizer products, including nitrogen stabilizers.
  • Knowledge of the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Program, precision agriculture and emerging fertilizer technologies.
  • Experience independently conducting agronomic research and a strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Knowledge of TKI Crop Vitality competitors’ products and service offerings in the specialty fertilizer arena, with a familiarity of crop protection products.
  • Working knowledge of customer segments and needs, including crop production and input practices, suppliers, wholesalers, retailers and growers.
  • Experience with product evaluation, marketing and product launch.
  • Experience with the development of training modules focused on product technical data, selling messages and tools for the sales team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).

Assistant Herd Manager for S Haas Farms
