Sales Account Executive for Farmers Business Network, Inc. (FBN)

What you would be doing: 

  • Product demonstrations and presentations directly to farmers. 
  • Collecting data directly from the farmer after signup. 
  • Use FBN’s instance of Salesforce to manage, prioritize and document all interactions and sales processes with farmers. 
  • Organize and manage farmer information and sales events with existing, local FBN farmer advocates. 
  • Plan and conduct meetings to train FBN members on the use of the system and best practices needed to ensure data quality. 
  • Document and report suggestions from farmers to improve the product and demonstrate to farmers that FBN listens.


  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heightened sensitivity to the issues that farmers face. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a district, regional or territory manager selling products or services directly to farmers. 
  • Knowledge of crop protection products required 
  • Strong domain experience and background in farming, production agriculture, retail or input sales. 
  • Comfort managing the inherent fine-line between successfully ‘finalizing the sale’ and being perceived by the farmer as being too aggressive.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with technology
  • Background in Agronomy including, but not limited to, the management and use of agronomic data. 
  • Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills in addition to being highly motivated with a strong work ethic. 
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, accountable team structure.
  • A farmer focus and a commitment to farmer satisfaction.

Mechanic/General Laborer for Bridgewater Dairy LLC

A little about the business: Welcome to Bridgewater Dairy!  We were founded in 1998 with the desire to provide wholesome milk for our families and yours. The Bridgewater Dairy Group is based out of Northwest Ohio and Northeast Indiana, where over the last 20 years has grown to 6,000 dairy cows and 5,500 acres of cropland.

What you would be doing: 

  • Fluid exchanges such as oil, coolant, power steering, etc.
  • Tire repairs and changes
  • Alignments
  • Batteries, starting and charging
  • Additional light maintenance
  • Assist with grounds keeping (mowing, moving manure)
  • Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures


  • At least 1 year working experience in mechanics or a mechanical aptitude
  • A good work ethic
  • A good driving record and able to be insured to drive our company vehicles
  • Dependable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be willing to work 10 hours shift with some overtime, rotating weekend and on-call work may be required.
  • Able and willing to lift between 40-70lbs.
  • Able to perform strenuous work in wet/damp environments.
  • Some job functions will require operation of motor vehicle and tractor – CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED
  • Ability to display good attendance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Crop Production Supervisor for Pine Island Cranberry Co. Inc.

What you would be doing: 

  • Perform crop scouting for insects and disease, and plan timely applications
  • Assist in assessing nutritional needs, and timing of fertilizer applications
  • Assist in evaluating moisture levels in cranberry beds, and help make decisions on irrigation, ditch levels, and drainage improvements
  • Assist in all areas of crop growth and production
  • Compilation and reporting of agronomic activities
  • Work with newer technology including remote start pumps, tensiometer, and weather stations


  • Education in horticulture, soil science, agronomy or plant pathology
  • Farm experience or some equivalent
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Willingness to work farm hours and some weekends, harvest time can be 7 days per week

What you would be doing: 

  • Develops and implements quality strategies; seeks innovative approaches to attaining business’ quality objectives.
  • Responsible for maintaining site ISO 9001-2015 program and coordinating/providing support during relevant audit activities. Responsible for quality-related external audits including UL, Intertek, Miami-Dade, and others as needed.
  • Leads, supervises and provides performance management to the Quality Control Team.
  • Ensures QC Lab has the proper resources and training to function effectively within budgetary requirements.
  • Manages the site Non-conformance Management (NCM) system and provides resources and support as necessary. Holds regular NCM review meetings to drive continuous improvement. Provides SAP NCM and other quality system-related training to relevant site personnel.
  • Provides QC/QA resources and support to corporate initiatives, research and development projects, claim investigations, and other activities as needed.


  • BS degree, preferably in a technical or quality related field (or equivalent)
  • Five (5) years’ experience with quality management systems.
  • Knowledgeable of chemical processes and manufacturing technology and methods.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and direct shift and technical personnel. Strong interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster teamwork with subordinates, peers and superiors both internal and external to the Brighton Site and BASF. Ability to supervise/manage in a fashion that is consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.
